Terrific fun with Haydn!

An entertaining time will be had by pupils in this workshop about one of the most famous Lower Austrians of all time.

The birthplace of probably Lower Austria’s most famous composer, Joseph Haydn, invites you to a special musical experience. Thanks to extensive restoration of the room where he was born, the kitchen with its open hearth and the original peasant furniture in the living room, the guests can immerse themselves in the age of Haydn. The museum visit is rounded off with the chance to make music with the Tonkunstler in the baroque room where Haydn’s original piano stands.

Making music together is also important, with singing and dancing to Haydn’s music and a finale performance based on his symphony “Mit dem Paukenschlag”.

For primary school, high school lower grade
