Five voices on a journey through musical history. «The Real Group» is Sweden’s most successful vocal ensemble. All genres are fair game: folk, swing, pop or classical music. World-class jazz musicians such as Toots Thielemans are crazy about them, and with a large orchestra they prove that successful pop songs can also be classics. Moreover, they have arranged the core classical repertoire for their voices and when paired with the Tonkünstler Orchestra, a new listening experience is guaranteed! New interpretations are also on the programme in the prelude concert: the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Lower Austria, which is coached by members of the Tonkünstler, will perform classics of American music.
