With Beethoven’s Fourth Piano Concerto and Franz Schubert’s Sixth Symphony, the Tonkunstler Orchestra presents a programme which typifies the transition from the classical to the romantic age. The soloist is Kotaro Fukuma, born in Tokyo in 982, and on this occasion, he orchestra will be conducted by the young Lithuanian conductor Giedrė Šlekytė, who, together with the Tonkunstler, shows, how Schubert’s «little» C-major Symphony reveals his worship of both Beethoven and Gioachino Rossini.
