The Tonkunstler Orchestra gives school groups the opportunity to attend dress rehearsals at the Vienna Musikverein and the Festspielhaus St. Pölten.
The students are given an insight into the fascinating way a symphony orchestra rehearses and to experience how world-renowned conductors perfect classical works in collaboration with the musicians in their final rehearsal before the concert. The following discussion with the conductor and musicians allows further glimpses into the backstage life of an orchestra.
