Choose between five, seven or twelve concerts in a subscription and between Sunday afternoon or evening performances, with corresponding discounts. With a simplified subscription structure for its symphonic concert programmes, the Tonkunstler Orchestra is making it easier for audiences to choose their musical experiences in the Musikverein Wien.
In addition to twelve symphonic subscription programmes, the Tonkunstler Orchestra again provides a broad stylistic palette of music on three evenings of the Plugged-In world music series. We also offer our festival concerts to mark Christmas, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and Good Friday. The orchestra is booked for three ambitious stage productions in the Festspielhaus St. Pölten and attendance at the Grafenegg Festival in summer 2023.
As part of Tonspiele, its music education programme, the Tonkunstler Orchestra offers events for children, young people, schools and families. This focus on education and communication is reinforced not least by the subscription series for the presented concert format Explained. Experienced!, once again offered in three parts, with the Ö1 radio presenter Albert Hosp.
