For the second time, the Tonkunstler Orchestra will present a special kind of concert under the baton of principal conductor Yutaka Sado together with 500 choral singers from the region around Vienna, St. Pölten and Grafenegg. They will all take to the stage of the Festspielhaus St. Pölten to perform Ludwig van Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony and its chorale finale «Ode to Joy». If you’d like to be part of the choir, you can apply for the next date: in May 2018 «Seid umschlungen, Millionen» (a line from the Ode meaning «You millions, I embrace you») will be performed in the Vienna Musikverein.
