Leonard Bernstein
Overture to «Bernstein»

The American tap dancer Savion Glover made his Broadway debut aged only twelve with «The Tap Dance Kid», and won an Academy Award for his choreography of the animated film «Happy Feet». His company’s collaboration with the Tonkunstler Orchestra provides the cue for a jam session of music and dance at the highest level. Savion Glover’s presence at the Festspielhaus guarantees some hot footwork while the symphony orchestra provides the perfect sounds for a whole evening of dance in several parts produced in cooperation with ImPulsTanz – Vienna International Dance Festival.
