  • Andrè Schuen, baritone
  • Hannu Lintu, conductor

Thomas Larcher has been closely associated with the Tonkunstler Orchestra as a pianist and composer for more than 30 years. In his internationally performed symphony «Alle Tage» he immerses himself in the universe of Austrian writer Ingeborg Bachmann, for which he creates an «echo space». In seven movements the orchestra plays around the four Bachmann texts, which are sung by baritone Andrè Schuen, before the music ultimately parts from the word. Robert Schumann also plumbs the depths of the soul in his Fourth Symphony: a work in which cheerfulness always has something melancholic about it and sadness is always borne with a smile.
