Almost 200 years after its premiere, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony is interpreted by 500 singers. More than half of the participants work for the accountancy and consultancy firm EY (Ernst & Young). Amateur singers from Austria, Germany and Switzerland have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take to the stage alongside choirs from Vienna and Lower Austria and professional musicians, affirming together the classical ideals and visions embodied in the «Ode to Joy».
