Was macht man mit einer Idee?

«What Do You Do With an Idea?» This picture book by successful author Kobi Yamada about creativity and the courage to turn it into action gave Upper Austrian musician Helmut Schmidinger an idea: He transformed words and images into sounds! His composition invites you to experience the development of an idea through music – a story that encourages everyone who participates to welcome creative ideas and give them room to grow. Embedded in the concert is a variety of musical miniatures composed by children and young people aged 10 to 19. Following its premiere at the previous Family Day in Grafenegg, «What Do You Do With an Idea?» is now returning to the stage – in a new production that uses body language to convey its message. Dancer Silvia Salzmann, who comes from Vorarlberg, steps in as director and choreographer.
