«Swan Lake» Ballet in four acts

Dark romanticism dressed in white feathers: the fairy tale story of Odette who is put under a wicked spell by her step-mother, trapping her in the body of a swan from which love alone can release her is regarded as the “ballet of all ballets”. The Artistic Director Designate of the Vienna State Ballet Martin Schläpfer makes an impressive classical debut with his acclaimed production of Swan Lake. With the award-winning Ballett am Rhein Düsseldorf Duisburg he has condensed Tchaikovsky’s ballet into an intense chamber piece.
