The Tonkunstler Orchestra’s Sponsorship Fund

The running of an active and successful orchestra calls not only for long-term planning, organisational talent, and creativity, but also funds. In order to realise particular projects, such as music education in our work with children and young people, and the commissioning of new works by composers, the Tonkunstler Support Fund has been brought into being.

Your contribution – adding your personal note

Take this opportunity to make a contribution to the music of the future. Your donation will contribute directly to the Support Fund of the Tonkunstler Orchestra, where it will form the basis of a gilt-edged investment together with the contributions of other music lovers. Only the capital gains will be used for our non-profit projects: the fund assets will remain untouched, thus serving as a foundation to secure our long-term projects. As a donor, you will of course receive an annual accounts statement and report, informing you about the ways in which the money is being used.

The donor calls the tune

The capital gains are to serve the advancement and the delivery of special projects. The Tonspiele workshops are specially designed for children and young people and allow participants to become familiar with orchestral instruments and discover the pleasure that music brings. The Orchestra Academy aims to give young professional musicians a practical jump start to their artistic careers – an important step towards supporting the next generation of Austrian musicians. The orchestra plays a vital cultural-political role with the commissioning of new works. The money to do this is also made available by the Support Investment Fund. Last but by no means least, the money generated by the fund allows the orchestra to purchase new instruments. You can specify for which of these four projects you would like your donation to be used, and we guarantee that the money will be used for this purpose exclusively.
