Programmes

Classical music meets acrobatics: in their eye-catching project the Tonkunstler Orchestra and the celebrated company Circa pay homage to Ludwig van Beethoven’s Ninth. With this symphony, Beethoven created a musical monument to equality and freedom. Now, some 200 years later, Yaron Lifschitz creates an acrobatic score for this masterpiece. Under the musical directorship of Yutaka Sado and featuring choirs from across Austria, this dialogue between art forms culminates in a celebration of humanity.
