One of the early highlights of Advent is the Tonkunstler-Orchestra's Christmas programme on December 9th and 10th, which includes what is arguably Johann Sebastian Bach's most virtuosic solo cantata: «Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen» is a breath-taking tour de force in which soprano and trumpet vie for the most dazzling passages. Conducting is Reinhard Goebel, one of the most renowned figures in historical performance practice, and making her Grafenegg debut is soprano Elisabeth Breuer.
